Liana and the staff made us feel so at home during our stay. Perfect place if you want to visit the nature of Santo Antão, as you’re right in the middle of a beautiful valley with hikes right outside the door and easy transportation to the towns and other hikes. The facilities are perfect and it’s very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very nice and we had to leave early in the morning to go back to Sao Vicente, but they prepared for us even it was not breakfast time!

Me and my sister had a wonderful time at Casa das Ilhas. We did amazing hikes, thanks to the owner Katelijne, who indicated the routes on our phone and arranges the transfer to the starting point of the hike. That was really great! Each evening we enjoyed a tasty dinner after a long day of hiking. The rooms are basic but contain everything you need, including a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back!
