The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The lady was so sweet and let me keep the room the next day until I went to the airport without my even asking. It was in a good location for the hike I wanted. Comfortable, safe and good value for money. They also organised a cheaper airport taxi. Very responsive to messages. Thanks again for the great stay

Nice, spacious room with large bathroom and balcony. A bit old-fashioned (which added some charm) but fully comfortable. Excellent big breakfast, including a cachupa with egg - a welcome energy boost before a day of hiking! Location in the centre of Assomada which is not exactly a beatiful town but has a purely local feel and an excellent location for hiking in the interior of the Santiago island. Some hikes are accessible on foot, some by taking an aluguer (minibus) - and the aluguer station is just a few steps away from Asa Branca. Some previous guests complained about street noise but we had a room at the back and it was quiet.

This location is incredibly convenient, being so close to the airport, which minimizes travel time. I appreciated the simplicity of the design, which was both creative and aesthetically pleasing. The space was spotless, which added to its welcoming atmosphere. The fact that the place is fully furnished, with utensils and cleaning equipment provided, made it feel like a true home away from home. The host was responsive and kind, always willing to help with any requests. You can trust her to be both honest and reliable, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

The location for us is great: there is a Minimarket right across the building, a 2-minute walk to the main road to catch a collectivo to the city, and the best part for us: no need for a taxi to get to the airport as its just 10min walking, 15 if you take your time. Very cool. Yet you dont hear any planes starting or landing (I guess one reason I the constant wind in Cabo Verde blowing from north all the time). The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. Families, police officers, nurses, doctors... The owner is very friendly and lives in another appartement of the building. Always reachable via booking or WhatsApp, and she will sure be there when you arrive. The appartement is massive, there are two bedrooms (with each 1 big bed), a bathroom with hot shower, a kitchen, a small balcony, a huge living room with couch, TV, diner area...and even a washing machine. Everything is superclean, there are enough plugs to charge and the WiFi works great. Can't find better, even for that price. I can totally recommend this place!!!

Situated in Mato Correia in the Santiago region, gîte de rando haut has a garden. There is a restaurant and bar and guests can enjoy the water park.

The property, the decor and everything else about it. It's very private even though you have neighbors who were very welcoming, BTW. The neighbor offered us mangoes and even eggs from her chicken. People from Santiago are very warm and welcome people; this is all over Santiago. Yolanda cooks very nice meals at her restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
