The room was large enough for myself, wife and son who slept in a separate toddler bed. There are lots of outdoor activities for children (including a huge trampoline) and the breakfast was great. If you enjoy walking, there is an amazing trail located minutes from the hotel with picturesque views. Ideally, you need a car to reach Schwarzwald-Hotel Kraeutle. The location is great, you can start hiking directly from the front door. Otherwise within a few minutes drive you can reach Titisee or Schluchsee and enjoy activities there. The room we were given (room #2) had the perfect setting for our family (2 rooms separated by a door, so we could stay awake a bit longer while our kids were sleeping in the other room).
