The best breakfast we had in 2 months of travelling . Great restaurant on site. Really good pool and spa on roof. Ideal position on the edge of the town square. Deggendorf is a beautiful, clean town in Bavaria and we would come back here in a heartbeat.

An absolutely fabulous place. Walking into the amazing two floor room was just so exciting. And the many windows overlook the actual castle. The historical building, which also belongs to the castle, is full of antiques and quirky things, and it's a true fairytale experience. Breakfast was excellent. There's a local cheap and cheerful restaurant across the street. Also don't miss a guided tour in the actual castle, where you get a discount as staying guests.

I would estimate 10+ . The hosts are very friendly, they are always ready to help if you have any questions or difficulties. The the apartments´payment includes costs for the culture parks visits, which is very cheap as compared to the tickets bought directly at the parks. The rest is perfect for families with children and dogs. I am planning to come here on winter season with my family. Respekt zur bayerische Leuten :)

My family of three stayed at the property over the Christmas holidays. The host was kind and forthcoming - showed great communication and was happy to answer any questions and queries we had regarding on-site facilities, parking and resort fees. The property was equipped with everything you would need to prepare a meal, or have a cosy night in. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially in the morning hours. The swimming pool area was fully equipped with changing rooms, lounge chairs, showers and infrared saunas. From there you could access the gym or play a round of ping pong if you were up for it. We were really pleased with our stay and would definitely love to visit again.
