We arrived much later than expected due to incidents and congestion on the A3 from Stuttgart after Heidelberg there were many stoppages and just slow traffic. One stoppage was 1.5 hours with a Police vehicle wending its way through the traffic. We had no idea of what the problem was. Annette was very welcoming and assisted with our luggage some 4 hours after our initial requested arrival time.

Location is perfect!! convenient parking. Comfortable beds, good shower, all is clean, nice breakfast with vegan options. There was an airco, but opened window worked better. It was quiet at night at that area. There were no possibility to make tea in the room, but after our request we’ve got the kettle and tea cups. Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful.

This 3-star hotel lies directly in the pedestrian shopping area, in the Opladen district of Leverkusen. The A1 and A3 motorways are within a 5-minute drive from hotel sechzehn.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean, bathroom was good with powerful shower. Beds were very comfortable, and there were many quirky touches that we liked. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. We were there for football at Bay Arena (Bayer Leverkusen) and the location and transport to the ground (about 4kms) was excellent. Free bus to stadium and back from Opladen. Train to Cologne in 15 mins. Great hotel, great location and we would definitely recommend.
