We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Kemijärvi! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and welcoming, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thanks goes to Vlrgemir, who truly made our experience exceptional. His politeness and helpful nature stood out immediately. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions with patience and ensuring we felt at home. Costume service perfect, Lotta was so lovely with us, and the rooms are such clean and quiet, the modern tv if you wanna use Netflix, there are many supermarkets around the hotel. It was incredible! Thanks Lotta!

This is a great budget place for everyone looking for a comfortable, nice and inexpensive place to stay. We arrived very late and probably woke up the owner. However, she had no problem showing us around and welcoming us, although she spoke little English. The lady was so kind, even brought us free pancakes in the morning :-) the room was clean and comfy, felt like being in the 20is. It had everything one needs. Very charming and spacious.

This is a perfect place for bigger families. Lots of room and toys for kids to play with. Nice living room/kitchen area with a big fireplace. The upstairs offers some privacy for others if needed and balcony was a super nice and cosy place to relax. The always ready sauna is also big enough for the whole family and it's safe to use! The location is very good if you want to explore the eastern Lapland area. To move around the region you need a car although there is some public transportation. The hosts Pekka and Pauliina were there to show how everything works and they were super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you have a bigger family or group and you want to explore this part of Lapland!
