Great apartment, clean, everything you need to cook a meal in the kitchen. Small terrace outside, view to fields. In the centre of the pretty, small village of Colombey, several restaurants within 5-10 min walk. Private parking. Friendly host. Pleasant walks from house. Village is a homage to Charles De Gaulle who lived here and is buried in the cemetery. There is even a Mirage plane ( very elegant fighter jet) displayed in the field by the apartment. Food at Logis Hotel La Grange du Relais, 10 min walk, is good.

An exceptionally comfortable and well appointed hotel. Our room (6) was perfectly decorated and all facilities were excellent. A very enjoyable dinner in the impressive restaurant. Like most guests, I imagine, we stayed here in order to visit the Charles de Gaulle museum, for which it is perfectly placed.

We loved our one night staycation in this hotel! The host Chloé was very helpful with the instructions and reccommendations for late dinner. The room was very clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. If you are lucky, you will also see the neighboring pony in the back yard! A lovely hotel 😊

Our stay was the surprise package of our 6 weeks in France and Switzerland. For a very modest tariff, the rooms were simple but clean and functional, with lovely exposed wooden beams, a separate toilet room and bathroom with walk-in shower and a delightful breakfast. Parking is free and easy to access. But the real surprise was the optional dinner, starting with champagne and hors d'oeuvres in an impressive vaulted wine cellar, before progressing to the homely dining room to savour more courses of delectable food prepared with pride by Gauthier, the friendly host/chef/sommelier, who also provides a choice of wines throughout the evening as he sits at the table with co-host, Hélène, to join in conversation with guests from around the world.
