Location & property size were perfect for my stay. It was a relaxing holiday in a quiet French village. The hosts, Natalie & Tony, made me very welcome & even shared an evening apero with me, which was lovely. There were lots of minor roads & tracks available for me to run/walk/cycle with my dog, Willow. Virtually traffic-free for most of my outings, which was great. The gite was perfect, with 2 bedrooms & an open-plan living area. My first impression was that it seemed larger & nicer than the booking.com photos on the site. The pool is 1.5m deep with a children's shallow pool to one side, making it ideal for travellers with a young family. Supermarkets, fuel & restaurants are a 7-minute drive away, which is ideal. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-week stay here. I would definitely stay there again in the future & would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The property is a wonderful old French house tucked away in a small village but not far from great transport links. The stylish bedroom had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is huge with a freestanding bath with a shower tap. The breakfast was left downstairs in a wicker basket with plentiful bread, jams, eggs, fruit and juices and tea/coffee. All in all, a fabulous stay.

Les Granges de la Leigne, Ruffec is situated in Condac and features a pool with a view and garden views. Boasting a housekeeping service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

Jon and Suzi went out of their way to make sure I had everything I could possibly need - including offering plant based (vegan) food, a great welcome and plenty of garden space for my dog. A beautiful pool and a whole variety of seats in sun and shade to enjoy the garden. A very comfortable room. G & T from the bar to enjoy in the garden. Lovely walks in the lanes nearby with lots of hollyhocks along the outside wall and along the lane. Very near to Ruffec and to the Charente river.

Great stay at "Les pierres douces". Very pleasant and cosy, with a warm welcome. I especially loved the homemade breakfast, so delicious ! I'll definitely come back and I'll recommend this place to all of my friends and family without any hesitation.

Probably one of the best gites we have stayed in. Facilities were spot on, Sandra and Vincent were flawless, very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
