We stayed 5 nights and we wished we stayed longer in this cosy and beautiful guest house. The location is perfect to explore Mont Saint Michel and Saint-Malo. We loved the hospitality of Celeste and Patrick who made sure we didn’t miss anything and we felt like at home. The abundant breakfast and dinner personally prepared by Celeste could satisfy every taste (with particular attention to the kids). It was nice to cool off in the pool after a long day of discovering the region and to chat at dinner with the hosts and the other guests. We absolutely recommend la Gerbaudiere Chambres d’hôtes to everyone who is looking for hospitality, comfort and conviviality.

Absolutely charming chambre d’hôte. We felt we were in heaven being looked after by two angels. Comfy, plush beds, charming buildings, exceptional breakfast with the most delicious home made delicacies. But the best bit was the incredible welcome and kindness by the hosts. A beautiful house in a stunning location, overlooking a scenic lake in the centre of town. The house is very well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the region. Perfect for a cycling base.

We really enjoyed our stay. The warm welcome immediately made us feel at home. The room was very cosy, with comfortable beds. In the evening we very much enjoyed the possibility to play pool and darts in the ‘play room’. Breakfast was very good with delicious scrambled eggs on toast. We really enjoyed dinner prepared for us on the second evening of our stay (delicious chicken with potatoes freshly harvested from the garden, followed by a big piece of very tasteful cake)

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming home in the serene Normandy countryside. Sallyanne and Andy, the hosts, were truly the loveliest people we’ve ever met, welcoming us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The home itself was a delightful haven, thoughtfully furnished with an array of things to use and activities to do. From cozy sofas and board games to their well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, every detail was considered. For us British folks there was even British television! The hosts even took the time to give us a guided tour, making us feel like cherished friends, and also took the time out to see us leave. The value offered by this remarkable home is unparalleled – a treasure trove of comfort, warmth, and genuine care. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area! Bonne chance à Sallyanne et Andy.
