Unique experience sleeping in a luxurious tent with private (soil!) toilet & shower. But honestly everything was made so nice and comfortable - so you get the taste of tenting, without the less comfortable aspects. Notice, the tents are located in an area visited by deer - so Bambi was seen every morning, and breakfast was served outside by the lovely owners. Best breakfast we had in France, btw!

I don’t know how to explain, but it felt like I was a kid again, sleeping over at my grandparents. It’s in the house of a couple, where the man tends the garden, and the woman tends the guests. It’s so quiet, and it feels so safe. The woman knows a little English, so it’ll probably work even if you don’t know any French. But if you know just a little (like my self), you get to talk to two really beautiful people (who also helps you with your French while talking with them). Also, it’s just a 15min drive to the lake Bassin de Saint-Ferréol, which is a very calm area where one can spend an entire day. Next time, we’ll have kids, and we’ll book two nights.
