Fabulous place, just close enough for sightseeing, but also enough out of the way for some peace. Meal at the restaurant was great, breakfast was fabulous for the individual attention 😊.

Down stairs the bar had a log burner and a variety of seating. Staff and locals were very welcoming and there was a nice friendly atmosphere. The two evening meals we had were very reasonably priced and we enjoyed them.Large bedroom with a sofa and lots of space.

5 stars is not enough to describe our stay. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are done up to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional, there were so many choices at breakfast and staff remembered our preferences from the previous morning. We ate in the hotel for dinner, the menu was amazing and the quality of food even better. We could fault absolutely nothing at this hotel, thank you!

    Perfect for families with young children. Our grandson loved the little play area. Great too for dogs with a lovely big field for them to run freely in. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of parking.

    Everything about this stay was fantastic. We came with 4 adults and 3 kids. The Cottages have everything you need for a home from home stay. So much for the kids to do, run around in the land with a park. The dogs loved it too! 5 Min drive to Bedale which was lovely little town. The family on the farm are so lovely, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Had a brilliant weekend and we will be returning for sure!

    There are a few cottsges so great for family and friend getaway so you can have your own space. Well kitted out with equipment. Parking Comfortable bed. Owner lives on site. Garden areas and courtyard Good for children. Great library and store with games/ and equipment that you can just go and take during stay

    Millers cottage was a lovely place to stay. So well equipped for young families! The stair gate was most appreciated as our 11 month old has no sense of the danger of stairs. The library was great for helping yourself to equipment - high chair, DVDs, games and a walker which our little one loved! Kitchen was well equipped and the grounds were lovely, especially being greeted by the friendly doggies. Would definitely return.

    The location was great. very easy to get to other attractions like Lightwater Valley and Brimham Rocks. Fabulous leisure centre very near for swimming. Not far from the village for essentials. The grounds were lovely with room to have a picnic or use the field. The ducks and the geese were fun for the children too. It would be perfect for all occasions especially with the hot tub on site too. Osprey cottages had everything you could need. I will recommend it to others confidently.

    Peaceful family friendly site. The cottage we stayed in was spacious and well appointed. Our kids enjoyed the space and running around playing in the field. Fresh eggs for sale too which was great

    A very friendly welcome and lovely accommodation. Had it all for a peaceful weekend. Hope we can back with our children as its got so much for families/ kids. The recreational field was brilliant for the dog too!
