A very comfortable stay in a clean and spacious room in the sweetest little town. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Being over the pub, there was the sound of a bit of chatter as the weather was lovely and people were outside, but it didn't disturb us at all, and settled reasonably early. An excellent continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay. Warm and friendly from the reception, check-in to the room temperature. It was a freezing night in SE Scotland, but the hotel and room were warm and cosy. The evening meal was lovely and well-priced. Breakfast was amazing, and a challenge to finish it all. It was an exceptional stay. Will return.

    Room was comfy, spacious, modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, with them being accommodating for our 1 year old child. Food at Gather great, with beautiful sea views. A 45/50min drive to Stranraer / Cairnryan if you’re using as an overnight stop off point en route to the ferry. It was our second time staying and would definitely recommend.

    This is a magical place with soul and heart.beautiful views at every turn plus the people around you are fantastic and very helpful. The owner Caroline told us a full family story about all farm. It is a place where you feel like at home. Each house has its own charm and the details are perfectly chosen. The food,restaurants and the service was fantastic too. Definitely highly recommended and I hope back there.

    location was great, the hotel was set in wonderful grounds with access to walks and outdoor activities. The indoor swimming pool was a big plus. food was good and staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. For those interested in golf there appeared to be a substansial course available right on the doorstep. it appeared to be a very safe place for families with lots of young peopolle enjoying the facilites.
