The house and the property were beautiful. The hosts were wonderful. There was even a small lounge were we could sit and talk to the other guests.

What a gem of a hotel! A beautiful, historic building bursting with character and energy. We were greeted on arrival to the surprise of a room upgrade - fantastic! We stayed in room 15 which was beautifully spacious and very comfortable. The bed was super luxurious. The bathroom was huge and very well equipped, including a jacuzzi bath. The room was also a nice temperature.

I had to leave before breakfast was served in the morning however I was provided with a really nice packed lunch instead.

Friendly staff, delicious brekfast and perfect location. Around 2h30 drive from Edinburgh, close to Bute Island. Very calm, comfortable rooms. Nice restaurants around.

The rooms were beautiful and food at the restaurant really amazing. Its a bit of a drive down a quite small road but well worth it!

Not quite sure why this is just a 3*** Hotel. It was simply amazing. The food was exceptionally good. If someone from Guide Michelin reads this, make sure you dine at Taychreggan :)
