After a gruelling weekend at Download and a long drive back to Ireland to think about we decided to stay at Harpurs for a night to recoup.. What a great idea that was. The staff were friendly.. The room was perfect and the shower was hot and well needed.. we went downstairs for a bite and a cure. The food was amazing and very well priced (pizza deal cannot be faulted) the complintary pint went down a treat too... we retreated to the room for the rest of the night and had a great sleep on a very comfortable bed. I think we will make a habbit of this going forward. 10/10

    Really convenient to stay for a wedding close by. Great that the room was set up for 3 to share - would work well for a family. Reasonably priced and good breakfast in the morning.

    A great find. We travelled to stay for a local dog show we were attending, so there was 2 adults and a child and 1 dog. Communication before arrival was excellent as there was a change to our room but not a problem at all. Friendly pub and cottage type accommodation to the side. Beautifully presented, spotless, comfortable beds, TV and bathroom facilities etc. Super quiet location too. Think we'll make this a regular for our dog show trips, excellent value. (We didn't book breakfast but believe it was available)
