Reception staff were approachable and quick to book us in. Bar staff were friendly and asked us about our stay. Room was comfortable and the beds the same. Clean and fresh bathroom also. Unfortunately we didn't dine as we were there to dine elsewhere.

The staff were lovely and so was the food in the pub, but most of all, the rooms were recently renovated and really well designed. Was so much nicer than we had anticipated and such a lovely stay. Wifi was free!

Location was perfect, in good location for shops and pubs. The house was cosy with everything you need and a lovely selection of beverages to buy with a dontation if you are caught short. The notes around the place was fantastic to let us know how to look after the place. The back yard was beautiful and well kept.

    Loved the hotel, super friendly staff and great food. Particular mention must go to general manager Jacquie Lucas who went way above and beyond to make our stay truly wonderful. Also the waiter at dinner Alex was stunningly good at his job and very funny.

    We had a lovely stay, we would have preferred a family room but they didn't have any available,and the two rooms we had were not together. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant.

    Breakfast wasn’t good. Poached eggs were dusty. Sausages very herby, no alternative available. Dinner was fine. Over priced. I requested a refund for the breakfast but as I was the only one in our party that had prepaid it was “not possible”.

    Very affordable and comfortable rooms. 1st class restaurant and breakfast facilities. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All contributed to a great family get together for the racing at Haydock as part of the visit.

    Met by the lovely hosts who showed us round and explained everything clearly and how to use the wonderful hot tub. Nice large house for a gathering. Garden would be great in the summer, great for all the kids we had with us. Would stay again.
