I booked this to spend a night before catching the Poole ferry after a two week road trip visiting friends and family . I was welcomed with a smile and a free drink. The bedroom was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable with real coffee in the delightful refreshments in the room. The food was delicious and of very good quality. I had supper and breakfast the next day , outside in the ample seating areas. The setting is peaceful and quiet with ponies ambling past . Every member of the team was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a beautiful oasis of calm and relaxation. I have already recommended it to my friends and family and will definitely be back for longer next time .

Frequent traveller visiting places and hotels all over the world & a chef myself, this was a real reminder of excellence in such a gorgeous location. I wanted to eat everything on the menu, which has clearly been put together to take advantage of locally sourced produce. The staff couldn't do enough for us , with a good old-fashioned customer service. The decor and rooms make for a country house feel with a modern twist.... There's been no expense spared on the recent refurbishment. If Iived a little closer, I would be a regular, sadly living in Perth Australia 🇦🇺 it will have to be next year! Good luck to the whole team as you make this beautiful place come into its full glory.

A very lovely and welcoming host. The house is clean and comfortable. The location is amazing, being just next to a forest. The holiday park has plenty of activities for families and kids. Strongly recommend!

    The breakfast was great, lots of different options to eat and drink! Our room was a decent size for a 3 night stay, very comfortable and well decorated. The bar/restaurant is also really nice, quite rustic and very comfortable. There is a massive garden area with a small play area, would be perfect for families. The location is outstanding! and each morning we were greeted by the local horses just outside the window. Would definitely stop again and I will be recommending to friends and family.

    Perfectly situated for our needs with 2 dogs and older children but would suit families with small children. Located between two country parks but close enough for beach days, town exploration and fun day's out Hot tub fabulous and maintained regularly. Garden is superb and rooms/facilities are smashing. Everything you would need is catered for from an iron to a hair dryer and games Host was accommodating and nothing was too much trouble Definitely on our list to return
