We had a chance to upgrade when we arrived for a great price, so we ended up staying in the Sir Robert De Stutville Suite. The suite was beautiful and the complementary toiletries and robes were a lovely touch.

Excellent place to stay if you're going to Peak District. Breakfast was great!! Not just the normal buffet but we could order extra dishes, pancakes. The staff were very courteous and professional. The facilities were extremely clean.

    Was good location for where family stay . Only Cumberland sausage available but rest off breakfast was good. When arrived we were booked into a room on the upstairs/no lift so when asked for a ground floor room due to stairs we were given a ground floor room will remember to request one on ground floor next time we book.

    Our expectations were exceeded. The staff are excellent the food was great and our overnight stay was very comfortable. Good parking. The room rate was very reasonable and good value for money.     The hotel was beautiful. The public house side of the Red Lion was like an old world country pub, lots of cosy corners for intimate talking. We were up from Sussex for a funeral. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and we would certainly return to stay there again. It was perfect for the motorway and getting into Sheffield. I would recommend it to family and friends.
