We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located less than a mile from the city center in a very quiet area. The room was clean and tidy with all the necessary appliances and a great view of the mountains. The breakfasts were very tasty and hearty, combining traditional Georgian and international dishes. There was a power outage in the city for a few days during our stay due to heavy snow, but the hotel has a generator so we had no problems with room heating or charging our devices. But the best thing about this hotel is the stuff, they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The river Svaneti was the great place to start our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. We definitely recommend it. It is cosy and clean. The owner is very nice, he took us by car to the shop, because the place is in the calmer place little bit further from the centre, but OK to walk. The breakfast were amazing too. Good place. Good people. The guest house is clean and comfortable. It is close to the main supermarkets and marshrutka station. The staff is not good at Russian or English but it wasn’t a problem.
