Needed a place to stay the night while driving to Kazbegi. Could not have been more happy with this place. Family owned wine cellar with fantastic (seriously amazing!!) food, and the rooms were modern and very clean. The place has a beautiful little yard with fruit trees and a patio, where we could sit down take the edge off our hectic travel day and wind down. Highly recommend staying here. The family who runs this place are hospitable, service oriented, quality driven, and genuine. I also recommend eating dinner there, visiting the wine cellar and purchasing some wine bottles from them🤍 We only stayed there for a night, but would recommend to stay longer!

This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!

Our hosts were very friendly and happy to assist with anything that we needed. The indoor pool and sauna were also great as it gave us something extra to do when it was too cold to be outside. The family room upstairs was also great for our family. Food was also really nice!

Amazing stay at Bazaleti Lake, with a host that truly showed us the spirit of Georgian culture regarding guests! Firstly, the property itself: this is a quiet, cosy area in walking distance to the lake, that was clearly built with love and care. The houses were new, clean and comfortable, and for their size they were surprisingly able to fit everything we needed for our stay. The balcony had a nice view and it was very nice to sleep under the wooden roof. Somehow even better was the outdoors area - this had comfy seating areas, a large table, a pool, and a large shared kitchen with great facilities. Second, the host: such generosity of spirit you would be lucky to encounter! He invited us to a feast and showed us the art of Georgian toast-making, took us around the local area in an exciting way, and in general was an amazing part of our entire trip to Georgia.

We loved our stay at this nice, spacious apartment in the middle of Old Mzcheta right next to the cathedral. Our apartment was in the basement of the house with small windows, so it is nice and cool during the hot days of the summer. Everything was very clean and in good shape. There was even a washing machine! But the best thing was our host‘s hospitality: she prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the shady yard and, as her English was only basic, she said everything with a smile and tried to make conversation nonetheless . She even let us sit in her yard after check-out serving us a glass of free juice. The perfect place for a stay in Mzcheta!
