I felt welcome, safe and well taken care of in an African heritage ambience catering specifically to African diaspora and friends of Africa guests. Cordial and polite interactions with staff and fellow guests, alike. My surprisingly spacious economy rate apartment was highly functional and tastefully furnished: A comfortable home away from home. Maroon Supermarket next door carries all of your familiar supplies from brown bread to Pine Sol and much more. Three minutes walk to the beach for a swim in the morning or entertainment at night. Refreshing pool surrounded by charming pergola apartments. When you don't feel like cooking, the adjacent restaurant will surely satisfy your palate. Overall, highly recomended! My stay at Mangrove exceeded my expectations, I was made to feel very welcome. Thank you to Awa, Pa and the boys who couldn’t do enough for me, I feel they are all my extended family, very sad to leave but I will be back!
