It took me a week to write this review just because I didn't know how to write one that would do our vacation justice. Antonis was the kindest host; he welcomed us from the moment we arrived, assisted us with everything we needed throughout the vacation (there was a small ant infestation that he got rid of within hours) and even advised us on what to visit, going as far as to call acquaintances to give us some boat tour options. 😊 The room was nothing short of dreamy, more spatious than the photos give it justice, with every facility you might need (fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hairdryer, iron & table for ironing, makeup table) and a breathtaking view of the coast at any time of the day. There's an AC in both of the rooms, and the walls are perfectly designed for temperature isolation so that not much of the heat gets inside if you keep the doors closed. Clean, tidy, and intimate, with an exit to the balcony from both the bedroom and the living room, sunbeds, and a hot tub with lights, music and bubble jets that exceeded expectations— especially in the evening, when the breeze made bathing even better. The surroundings are characteristic to a more picturesque Crete, being a bit further away from the crowds and buildings, which sets an incredibly peaceful ambience, with fireflies and sheep noise in the distance. (I loved the sheep bleating.) There aren't really insects otherwise! Everything was mosquito free. The location also welcomes you with a lovely parrot named Riko, who may seem shy at first but has an amazingly charming and sociable personality, if you're patient enough to give him attention everytime you pass by. We promised Antonis we'll come back again, and we will; it's a shame to only stay at this hotel once.

Excellent location to join old town local community as well as close enough to all necessary shops and also in a walking distance to Mália beach! Landlord family knows how to support a great relaxing vacation time and always supportive! Danke Sehr ;)

A brand new renovated place all the staff is so friendly and made us to feel like home the place is magic and the sunset is wonderful also you can take your vegetables from the garden there thanks for the amazing stay

We can’t recommend this facility enough! We just came back from an amazing and very relaxing holiday. Everything was very well managed (thanks Ilias) and all the members of the staff were lovely and always ready to help you when you need (everybody speaks a high-level English so it was very easy to communicate). Food tastes so good, you can tell it’s 100% homemade and healthy (full buffet breakfast and a set menu for dinner different every day). Amazing selection of wines and coffee at the pool bar. The environment is quiet, a great place for couples that wants to stay away from touristic and crowded places. We will come back for sure!

Very nice hosts which invited me to coffee and cake in their tavern (with a great view) and even had a little present for me. The studio ist modern and very nice. Internet was good, the view great, showers very well. The location is actually a big advantage which I didnt see before: The Zeus cave is very empty before 10am. Then many tourists start to pour in. So it is very easy to just check out and walk 10min into the cave and have it for yourself.

We liked absolutely everything. Place is very nice, clean and quiet. Staff is super friendly. Pools are warm and clean. Great cocktails and service. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Fantastic location in the "mountains" cca 15 min. from the sea. People and atmosphere absolutelly unbelievable. Restaurants, very good cafe, many possibillities for trips around. Thanks, hope we will be back soon. Jan

The idea behind Vasilikata is really great, restaure buildings in a mountain cabin style with all the comfort one desire. The environment on the Lassithi Plateau is exquisite.

Nana Princess was simply heaven on earth. The staff seemed like they were all specifically trained to give you an unforgettable experience. Sophia, Chrysa, Mikalis, Angel, Dimetros......every single one of them. The resort is also very luxurious and incredibly fresh.

This is a touristic part of Crete, with a very clean beach and many similar hotels. It is practical to reach all the touristic targets that are near Heraklion. 25 minutes from the airport by car, but you do not hear the planes. Many restaurants, bars, and shops are in the neighborhood. The hotel rooms are of solid quality, practical and clean. View on the sea is beautiful. The hotel is on the sandy beach, you do not need to walk, very practcla for a family with small children. Private pool and baby pool are also available. We were a family of five, the last guests at the end of the season (end of October), and the owners did their best to provide us full service. They gave us a different breakfast every morning, and we did not have to feel that they were staying only for us. Owners are also very friendly and helpful.
