The apartment we stayed in was large, with air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, wirh grade view to the sea. The kitchen was well-equipped. The owners were very friendly and always ready to help. Even though we didn't pay for breakfast, they gave us cake every day. Very nice pool and the kids had fun.

This location is absolutely stunning. The place is amazing and this property is the perfect way to enjoy this historical town. The host was very lovely. The house was big enough for 6 of us to stay comfortably and the views from the private terrace were exquisite. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - I just wished we stayed longer!

This apartment was very comfortable, great living spaces and a huge kitchen area. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Our host provided home made olive oil and a bottle of wine on arrival. This was a lovely touch. Parking was provided just outside the apartment. It was a short drive to the Castle and the town with restaurants, we could have walked it was around a 15 minute walk. The beach was also very close with easy parking everywhere.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and available. We stayed both at the residence, which was well equipped and spacious, and the double room which was very nice too. The hotel has a beautiful view both on the sea and the mountains. I appreciated that they have eco-friendly products for showering and shampoo.

The place is great if you want to relax. Peaceful hills around, black skies at night…. A car is a must. Is it far from the beach or Monemvasia? No, but it all depends on your demands – check on Google Maps – it gives you a realistic idea. Privacy is complete (there are some houses not too far behind, and people live there, but I only met somebody once). For us, it was ideal. But this depends on your needs. For instance, we never met the host in 8 days there. I liked this fact, but this also meant that we had to buy food for breakfast, because the promised breakfast was not included. There was food when we came, which lasted about 3 days, but after that, that was it; I wrote to the owner and the owner responded that he couldn’t bring more food, because he lived far. So when you compare prices, do not take ‘Breakfast Included’ into account, if you stay longer than 3 days or so. So what you get is an ideal place, a cosy suite, and a complete privacy for a reasonable price, but without any service, if that’s important for you. We spent some time in Monemvasia almost every day, and it became more interesting each time we got there, but I would not choose it for vacation rental. In Guesthouse Kamara, we were surrounded by greenery, olive groves, while in Monemvasia, there’s mostly stones, ruins, and tourists. It’s very interesting and beautiful in Monamvasia, but not really relaxing, I’d say. Also, I wanted to mention, we made many furry friends there. Nice little cats and kittens in need of food. They ate ANYTHING we gave them, including BREAD. I mean each and every one of them. They were nice and gentle, but appeared pretty hungry, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from buying sausages and cheap fish for them. And we had to give out sausages piece by piece to make sure everyone gets some. So yes, I do recommend this place for a complete relaxation… And don’t forget to treat the cats!

This was a lovely old village house with loads of character. It had been beautifully restored, in keeping with the original era, including typical furniture and kitchenware where possible. It had excellent views and was very peaceful and calm. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but strangely, had forks and spoons, but no knives in the drawers. There was a delightful terrace from the top bedroom with table and chairs to eat outside. It was a wonderful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, a few kilometres down the mountainside.

Nice, completely equipped and comfortable! Old Olive Tree Cottage house is equipped with everything you could need. Located in perfect, beautiful, safe and very quiet place. In addition with very nice, professional and helpful service from the owners. Such great location, in a beautiful olive grove, situated in a very quiet but safe place will made our stay unforgettable. The facility itself has a very large space and at the same time with such a huge number of amenities, relaxation becomes perfect. The facility had everything you could possibly need and even more, from a large swimming pool to a sauna, ping-pong table, washing machine and dryer and what important - an automatic ice maker. I even think that the description does not fully reflect the charm and value of the entire facility and place. Everything is excellent. Few minutes by car you can find and visit one of the most beautiful and large sandy beach in all of Greece without crowds of tourists. In South of Peloponnese and not far from Old Olive Tree Cottage house there are lots of beautiful places, tiny charming towns with beautiful views and attractions that you must visit and where you can eat very good local dishes. I really recommend this place!
