We have already been here two times. The view and the Scenery beautiful and peaceful. The accommodation is next to the sea. Always evening we was sleeping with the sound of sea. The staff were very kindly. I offer it for all. We had a good vacation here.

This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand. When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.

It’s the perfect house to enjoy the calmness and beauty of southern Crete! If you are looking for a place far away from all the tourists, this is it! It’s very modern, totally clean, new appliances, fully equipped kitchen. It’s perfect for a couple or really close friends (since it’s not a big house). The host is very supportive and answers all questions, gives recommendations and try to fulfill all your needs. The little presents you receive arriving there are also a big plus and more then we ever experienced at this price range! Of course the main reason to stay here is the almost „private“ beach, right behind the house. There is nothing more beautiful than to wake up to the sound of the sea, and seeing it first thing in the morning! Would definitely recommend for everyone just looking to relax and enjoy the Greek sun and sea!

This is a true place of tranquility, situated ~100m above sea level and with a stunning view on the Lybian Sea. There are only these 4 houses in the middle of an olive tree plantation, all nicely arranged with tasteful architecture. It consists of a living room / kitchen and 2 identical bedrooms, all with a view to the sea. All doors are equipped with mosquito nets, including even the front door. The owner is a very nice host and takes very good care of her guests. She also left some groceries for our arrival :) The house is reachable via a narrow, pretty steep road. Very good tavernas down in the villages by the sea. Only small supermarkets in the village. Nice beaches are easily reachable next to the village down the road. Car is required.

The position is BREATHTAKING and difficult at the same time. You're really far up the hills, about 7km from the next village, and the street with it's frequent turns above the slopes can be a little taxing ... The hotel itself is a central complex of houses in the village, and then there are several houses/ apartments in the village belonging to the hotel. So you live and move within the village, and it's quite beautiful: flowers everywhere, white houses ... Down the slopes you see the ocean, and you hear the goats and sheep from the village. The air smells of mediterranean spices and figs. It's almost always windy - sometimes even strong winds - so even in August you need something to cover yourself once the sun is down because it get's really fresh. One evening we couldn't even dinner outside because it was outright cold. The pool area is wonderful, small but cosy. Breakfast and dinner are served, there's not a wide choice but everything is very good. If you're a couple, enjoy nature, like to read and want to enjoy some of the beautiful beaches of the south (as well as the archeological sites of Phaistos and Gortina), Thalori is your place.
