They had a great restaurant next door. Mary and the rest of the staff who I think were all family were great. They made me feel at home and like family. Mary's sons Luis and David Shaun were very friendly. They also were happy to help with anything I needed from tours to information about the town and transportation. I highly recommend it.

A very beautiful place on the river bank. Restaurant is good with great food and a nice place to hang out. The dorm was good for a fair price, with aircon whenever you need it. Bed was comfortabel.

A little gem. I above all loved the atmosphere of this place and the staff working there. They were so friendly, interesting and helpful. It was the perfect environment to chill but also to chat and exchange stories with the staff and fellow travelers. The garden is absolutely beautiful. They have different choices for food at reasonable prices. It is located about 40 min walk from the unique reserve of Semuc Champey. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit rustic but I knew that when I booked and I wanted this kind of experience.

Amazing location in the forest and right on the river. Free yoga in the mornings. Lovely vegetarian food. They can organise tours and transport for you. Not a party hostel like some of the others - peacefully nestled in nature. Location still great and close to Semuc Champey.
