This is a tightly run place with clean little rooms, 5-star shared bathrooms and a quiet reverence for the surrounding nature that you often get in a conservation area setting. My kid loved the pool. My dad loved the restaurant. We did the sunset tour offered through the lodge with Fernando. We really enjoyed the pace that he set (chill out and go at his speed and you'll get more out of it) and the insights he offered on Mayan Biopsphere ecology, Tikal history and present-day culture of the indigenous people of Guatemala. Really special.

The location was a great experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean and accomodating to our family of four. We didn't use the outdoor hot tub, but we loved the pool area and the staff were accommodating in allowing us to have drinks at the pool.

Overall it’s a very pretty jungle place and you can get a room with shared bathroom for a very affordable price however these rooms do not have aircon and it’s hot and humid in the jungle! The staff were great
