in no order of particular priority: the abundant lush nature, the most attentive staff I have ever met in my 30plus years of 5 star hotels worldwide, a cuisine which was superbe, Spectacular infinity pools were just a few points that had us like “this is almost too good to be true”. but what truly knocked us off our feet was the warmth and heartfelt attitude of literally everyone working at the premise which made us feel like family and not paying customers. Being a managing director myself of a larger company I can clearly see everything that needs to come together to provide such a service and am truly impressed by everyone - from the manager (unfortunately i cannot recall her name but she was present whenever needed), to the waiters (hello Tuti and Sindi, you were simply amazing), to our tour guide Apri who showed us the beauty of the waterfalls nearby, to the front desk team that managed to find a doctor for us when needed after 9 p.m and also help us resolve to pay the bill while we had no cash… I am sure you get my point: this place is a 12 on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best!

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owners and staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. The cottages are very spacious and super clean. Everything has just been renovated. The location is great, overlooking the mountains and beautiful with the sunset over the pool. Nice breakfast and very good restaurant. Fresh and delicious Our son had his birthday during our stay and the staff had made a nice cake for him. If we are in Bali again we will definitely come back!

The location is really beautiful with stunning vistas on each side. The family running the accommodation are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The place is a perfect little peaceful retreat in nature and very close to a lot of the waterfalls and other tourist attractions of north Bali.

Fantastic room with a super comfortable large bed, spacious bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the jungle. Nice restaurant with a very good and generous breakfast. We rented a scooter on-site and visited nearby waterfalls – absolutely beautiful! The infinity pool is lovely, though the artificial grass behind it feels a bit out of place in such a beautiful natural setting. :-) Still, highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Friendly Homestay for four nights. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Eva and Gede, the owners, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning, and I truly appreciated their hospitality. The room was clean and cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious—I loved trying the local dishes. If you stay at Friendly Homestay, you must try the massage! It was such a relaxing experience and good activity for a rainy day. They also organize amazing tour guides to help you explore Lemukih and the surrounding areas. In addition they organized an pick up service from canggu to their homestay! I’m so happy I chose Friendly Homestay for my stay. Everything was perfect, and I had an unforgettable time! Beautiful and quiet garden, helpful and friendly owner, nice staff. Would go there again. Owner can organise day trips which is great. Free shuttle to Lovjna centre to go out for dinner and drinks, although we had some lunches and dinners at the restaurant in the hotel which was very good and convieneint. Very recommendable, great value for the price.
