If you’re thinking wether to come or not to Goa Walet, do not hesitate and come. The owner Ozy is an amazing person who built this incredible place. It’s in the middle of the jungle, peaceful and beautiful views, fresh smells. There’s a pool with fresh water, no chlorine. Ozy does an incredible tour to the waterfalls nearby. A remarkable experience. On top of that, his wife cooks homemade tasteful local food. It was definitely an amazing stay. I wish I could stay an extra night.

Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

The host Heri, was really friendly and helpfull. We had an amazing experience staying at his place. He also took us with him to show the indepence day of Indonesie at his house. His family was also really open and friendly and i even played soccer with his sons and nephews. The place itself was also really nice of you love nature. Also Heri is a really good chef and made the most delicious meals for us.

Good price-quality accommodation, modest but warm. The host just opened his homestay, and we were warmly welcomed by his family with tea and a local snack. The accommodation is located near a small village, close to waterfalls, and the way there is a real treat driving through the rice fields of Lombok. Perfect location for a budget-friendly traveller who wants a local experience and escape the high-season crowds in Tetebatu.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tony and his wife are the perfect hosts. They cooked a wonderful dinner & breakfast for us and they made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need, in an ideal location so close to the park. Tony also came with us for a 2h guided walk in the jungle to see the waterfalls. This was just perfect. We recommend Tony's place without any reservation !

The little bungalow you stay in is in the heart of a local village in Lombok, surrounded by rice fields. Asmuni, the host, was the friendliest and nicest host I’ve ever had. He showed us lots of different Lombok culture and traditions and provided some lovely breakfast for us. He completely made the stay for us and I could not recommend it more

I'm so grateful I stayed at Farmer Homestay for two nights. Niki and his family were so welcoming, Niki showed me Tetebatu (the rice fields, the waterfall, the monkey forest with the black monkeys) and he's a very good guide 😊 he also showed me and another client a very cute café that belongs to a friend of his, ask him to bring you there (he'll know which one I talk about)! We had great conversations with Niki, and for two nights, the Farmer Homestay felt almost like home (we even met Niki's childhood friends)! The 2 days spent there were the best of my trip, just because I had such a great time there! It's not a luxurious homestay but if you want to meet locals and connect more with the Indonesian/Lombok culture, it's great, and it's in a very quiet area, I slept very well there :) And the food was also very good, everything was cooked by his mom! I was a bit sad to leave :( Thank you again to Niki and his family! Wish you all the best for the future and hope to hear from you again!
