This place is so lovely and so secluded. It took a long journey to reach here but it was worth it. Astam their staff are so friendly and helpful. We requested them to bring us around with motorbike with a fee and they were great! My kids love the ride. Beach is nice but reef is dead and do get quite a lot of rubbish. Regardless it was nice and loved the free kayaking and calm sea.

Have just had an amazing 4 nights at Lombok Sunrise. It had everything. Friendly, family-run service,. The bungalow had amazing views, located right on the beach and onsite, delicious food at their restaurant. Their snorkeling trip was magical. Highlight of our trip

The best homestay we've ever stayed in!!!! Wafa was amazing, super attentive to us all the time and willing to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the location is perfect, in the center of the island within walking distance to all the main spots, and the breakfast was very good. Also the wifi was very fast, so it is also a perfect place for remote workers. He also organized us a snorkeling tour around the other gilis for a very competitive price and it was spectacular. Absolutely recommended!!!!

Catappa Village sits on a peninsula and is reached by a short boat journey of 15 minutes. As you arrive all the staff come down to the beach to welcome you. Check in is swift and there is a welcoming drink as you wait. Our room was on three levels stepping down from the bedroom area into an open outdoor bathroom complete with shower and bath. Stepping up from the bedroom was a small sitting area with an outside balcony. The rooms are all built from bamboo and are beautiful. If you are looking for a spot to completely relax then this is it. Catappa is secluded and you will quickly adjust to its vibe. The owner Alvin is a true caring gentleman who is happy to chat and help you with planning your stay. We were offered a days snorkeling at the local Gili islands which was amazing. Led by Bodie one of the staff we were able to actually feed the fish and swim in beautiful turquoise waters. The breakfasts were perfect and our evening meals were also of superb quality. Also they best up an open air cinema for us on their beach which was amazing! We would happily return here and can highly recommend it.
