Fabulous location. Spa and pool facilities were excellent. I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff, they were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Top quality coffee machine in the room.

Breakfeast and dinner were exceptional and the staff was very friendly. The room was really large and the view beautiful. So was the whole estate. The electric car charging station was the icing on the cake.

It was a incredible experience. The host was super nice, explained everything perfectly, and also gave us some tipps, for the next stops of our journey. The rooms were brand new, super clean and very comfy. We had a french breakfast, which was created freshly from our host and what should I say, it just was incredible. Overall it was sad that our roadtrip only allowed us to stay one night, because we would have definitly enoyed more.

We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

I stayed here on short notice for work and the hotel was amazing. I had no idea that the town even existed before booking, but the location was amazing. A lovely little town right on the River Barrow which includes a medieval castle and beautiful bridge. The hotel was very well managed with beautiful artwork and fresh flowers on display. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The restaurant has a great menu and the breakfast was cooked to order. Some of the nicest food I've had in a long time. I will 100% be back.
