The communication with the host was very good, both in the platform and then in person. Nice check in process. The location is serene. Clean and comfortable inside the large family room. Breakfast offered a wide selection. The price was quite good.

This surely is an exceptional house! Large rooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Very well equipped kitchen to make your meals if you wish. Renovation is done with good taste and honoring the old house. Nice back garden too. Parking was easy, lots of parking slots just outside the house. We went to see the bog and had a nice walk there (The Abbeyleix Bog Project).

We spent 2 nights at Abbeyleix and found the room extremely comfortable, staff exceptional and food and beverage reasonably priced and delicious. This Hotel was very close to the entry to the big walk, which we did twice because it was such a beautiful and tranquil walk. Very interesting history in Abbeyleix...we highly recommend the village and the beautiful hotel.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful little town.

Outstanding! From the location, to the facilities, to the food and the incredible staff our stay was outstanding. The staff was stellar in all ways. The accommodations were clean, beautiful, amazing. Breakfast, lunch and cream teas were excellent. We spent four days and truly did not want to leave!

What a wonderful place! We loved everything: the nature, the place, the people... it's like being inside a film. Paddy and Hanna are wonderful, friendly people, two artists... The room was superb. Really big and airy. Very quiet. Dinner was exceptional! Breakfast was clearly cooked by people who care about quality. In fact, “Quality”, shone through in all aspects. Highly recommend this hotel. Did I mention the underground private car park?
