We were greeted with a glass of champagne when we arrived. The room is well decorated with posh furniture The shower is big and well heated Free parking on the property Beautiful garden and lakeside to explore. Don’t miss the Sky Garden which is an interesting sensorial experience. It is less than a 15 minutes’ drive to the starting point of the bioluminescent kayaking experience. They were very accommodating for menu changes and children’s portions. I felt breakfast could have been included in the price of the room but none the less it was delicious. Lawn games were a hit with old and young. Staff were very welcoming. Very warm welcoming host, with lots of tips for the region, including tip for the local bar with live music on Thursday night! Skibbereen is just a short car trip away for restaurants or groceries.
