As described by others, the breakfast was terrific and a lot of work put in by the owner in serving and preparation. However this is a family place. SO many big family groups around and so many kids. Not for couples I wouldn't think so. The staff all around the place is so pleasant and friendly but definitely overworked. Breakfast was ok. Again, stayed in so many hotels around ireland they could step up the game a bit. Shower was a power shower, very hot with shampoo etc. provided. Beds were very comfy. Tea & coffee in the rooms and room service were great at bringing us fresh milk. Swimming pool was really big and there is a baby pool for the kids which is very handy. Robes and towels provided. Spa books up quickly so do book in advance. Manor House stunning interior , magnificent Whiskey selection and local gin worth a taste . Food in Hunters Lodge Hotel to a high standard and cost as expected with view of Golf Course .
