Location was perfect for a stop on our long road trip. We had a lovely view of the fell at the front of the hotel, cute cosy room with a living room that had shared facilities. Staff were lovely, and helpful. Great to have the restaurant downstairs. Would stay again!

The staff was very nice and helpful, they suggested us to see the nearby waterfall, which was very lovely. If you stay here we recommend you to try the dinner, the dinner was more than excellent!!! It was a very pleasent stay, with really comfortable beds, really clean room.

    The family room was extremely comfortable and spacious, even with five of us sharing. The hotel manager was welcoming, responsive and helpful in all email correspondence, and on the day we stayed at the hotel.

    Conveniently located off the Ring Road. Good breakfast. Nice hotel restaurant. Spacious family room. Hot tubs were good. Close to Kolugljùfur Canyon & the Seals in Hvammstangi.

    the hotel is really nice, staff is kind, rearranged a triple room plus a cot bed for us kindly. we have dinner at the restaurant, the food was really good. room is spacious, clean, with kettle, shower gel and shampoo. the breakfast was also very good, a broad selection of food, my parents and children enjoyed well. kids also played pokemon go and found that the hotel was a boarding school before and refurbished into hotel later on, they enjoyed the swings and basketball field in front of the hotel

    Booked two rooms en route for my family whilst travelling the ring road clockwise. Large car park, good staff service, especially from Hilda. Good sized rooms, good choice of breakfast. Hotel is surrounded by fields, good for viewing northern lights, although we didn't see any during our stay.
