A beautifully maintained rural property. Lovely grounds with olive trees, nicely shaped swimming pool suiting its surroundings . Rooms are simple with good quality towels, linen and bathroom fittings. Good breakfast and excellent evening meals. The ambience was calm and relaxing and the staff were friendly and professional . A really lovely place to stay.

Everything. Joanne was very helpful and welcoming. We arrived very late in the night as we we had some issues with the car rental at the airport but she waited for us and made us feel at home. Room was very clean and there is a lovely kitchen with good choice of breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. On checkout day it was raining and she also offered us to do a late checkout. Ample of free parking space in the street. Will definitely recommend

Both home owners were waiting for us upon our arrival (at 8pm) and even brought us some local pastry for us to taste. They are very nice and gentle couple and were happy to assist and provide info on local area as and when needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Borgo del Carato. We had the best nights sleep in the comfy bed and were made to feel very welcome indeed. The relaxed atmosphere was the tonic we needed. Beautiful, characterful buildings and courtyard and an excellent swimming pool in a beautiful setting. The flowering plants and lemon trees were amazing too.
