It was all very nice and peaceful and the owner was very welcoming, he let us stay a little longer after check out time and we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the Locanda's garden. We had a great lunch there as well.

Amazing location, perfect amount of things to do over 2-3 days, restaurants nearby were lovely, friendly locals, nice breakfast! Stay was very clean, good size rooms, comfy beds, great shower and bathroom. Pool was a big bonus!

Our stay at the Borgo Buzzaccarini was unforgettable. Everything has been renovated in a sustainable, exquisite and absolutely adorable way. The historical background of the property is something you can feel as soon as entering the gates. The amenities are new, modern and everything’s clean. The host Chiara was more than helpful and she even prepares breakfast by herself (homemade bread, cakes, jams …). We greatly appreciated the zero-waste mindset and the idea of sustainability. We will definitely come back.

Cordiality, generosity, hospitality - these are three words that can describe the owner of the place where I spent a wonderful week! The apartment is very clean and spacious with an amazing view over windows on hills. Beds are comfy and in the kitchen you can find everything what you need but even there is something missing the host will help you. In the apartment you can find toasts, jam, cookies, milk, juice and water. Every morning freshly baked cakes waited for us! Internet connection is OK to search for info on laptop. I had a wonderful stay at Le Volpi, a large part of it because of the spectacular service by Chris (and his colleague Mattia). I am an aspiring nature photographer with a drone and had found this property while hiking. The next morning I had flown my drone to catch a magical sunrise overlooking the property, but strong gusts of wind caused my drone to lose connection and disappear. I went far out by foot searching for it high and low, but to no avail, and came back to the property for breakfast - completely defeated. Chris saw me and asked how I was doing, and I explained to him I had lost my drone. Without even thinking how this could be a fruitless pursuit he reassuringly said “Don’t worry, we’ll find it!” and promised me we would after breakfast and when he was done with his shift. Chris went out of his way to drive me around to find it, and thankfully with the coordinates I had of the drone we eventually did! I just wanted to mention that people like Chris in Le Volpi are what make your stay unforgettable, and deserve to be recognised for their excellent hospitality. I am eternally grateful for Chris’ warmth and kindness, he is such a gem!!!!
