Our stay at Agriturismo Acetaia Sereni exceeded out expectations in every way! The room was clean with luxury quality mattress & bedding. The tour of the Vinegar factory & the dinner that highlighted the Balsamic they make was exceptional, we throughly enjoyed every part of that. The family & staff were all very professional while still being very personable. We absolutely loved everything, even with the rain!

Beautiful remote, quaint but also parking and secure location. Lovely couple that own the castle and lovely staff too. The pool is perfect for a morning and evening dip and we only had a night there between travelling but we’re accommodated and welcomed. Delicious drinks and pizza, much needed after a busy day too! Stunning view across the valley/down the mountain to the town. Well worth the half an hour drive to stay away from the town centre of Modena (where we visited Maserati and Ferrari- when in 🇮🇹 😀) absolutely beautiful spot.

We had a beautiful stay at Agriturismo Casa Rastelli. The area is beautiful, great for hiking and mountain biking. We booked dinner at Casa Rastelli as well, dishes were prepared and served with love. It was absolutely delicious, can only recommend. Unlike a typical Italian breakfast, the breakfast offered a variety of options with free range eggs from the farm, fresh croissants and cheese and prosciutto from the region.

Andrea and his staff are really the stars of this quaint beautiful hotel. Even thought it only has 6 rooms it oozes charm, warmth, amazing service and fabulous food and a lovely buffet breakfast is included. A trip to the local cheese factory was suggested and arranged. Wonderful! We also had an impromptu tour of some of the area with a stop atop one of the local hills for a spectacular view of the region. Locals are very friendly and there is a balsamic vinegar producer in the piazza by the clock tower. The bells of the church tower play a tune at 630pm every evening. Magical. This was our second stay here and we are planning our next trip. So worth it if you want off the beaten path and a uniquely tuscan experience.

Since we chose both a room and an apartment, it was nice that we could all spend some time together in the apartment. The rooms were quite small, but the apartment was pleasantly large and cozy. It was also nice that you could walk directly to the yard from the apartment.

We chose this location to enjoy peace and nature and the location exceeded our expectations. This place is magic. It is right in the nature reserve, Sassi park , lots of quiet, fresh air and the possibility to walk and enjoy nature. The breakfast we chose was vegan and the hosts really went out of their way to provide us with everything they had. I really appreciated the effort. Near the location is a restaurant, very authentic, which prepares food Thursday-Saturday. We didn't expect to find vegan food but they were able to make us vegan burgers and I think they were the best burgers we ever had. In the room we had constant heat and hot water. Wi-fi signal is good, considering where the house is, we were able to work all this period. We went for the Cosmoporf fair in Bologna, so we had few emotions about the distance, being 50min away by car but it turned out to be an easy drive and well worth the choice. I recommend if you choose to combine the fair with a little relaxation, to choose this location and and avoid the city crowds. Value for money in line with our expectations. The ladies are very nice and welcoming!

The staff were wonderful. The facilities were also great for the whole family - playgrounds and toys for the little ones, pool and jacuzzi for the whole family. It really was more impressive than the photos show.

Great facilities and rooms for families with plenty of space for kids! Pool, spa and sauna were fantastic. Apartment kitchen was compact but was sufficient for cooking basic meals. Stunning location on top of the hill overlooking the valley. Lovely receptionists. And… a golf cart to borrow to head into the village for Gelato!

Nice location and also close to various tourist places to visit. The room was modern and up-to-date although we apparently booked the only room without air-conditioning (which is not a plus). The pool is quite nice and the kids enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast is maybe limited although still sufficient choices. Good stay for 2 or 3 days although I would not recommend to stay longer.

We had a small wooden tipi like house for our kids. Very spacious and well equipped. We as parents had a brick house just outside the gate. This was brand new spacious extremely clean. We visited Ferrari in Maranello and afterward a Parmigiano Reggiano factory so it was situaties very well

The agriturismo is on a perfectly located hill, not far neither from Bologna nor from Modena. The family running the agriturismo owns and runs the local "Acetaia" whose tour is amazing and extremely interesting to say the least.
