Beautiful property a short drive from Montepulciano, set on a vineyard and olive groves. Rooms with beautiful areas to watch sunset and drink wine from the vineyard and eat Tuscan cuisine. Wonderful friendly hosts who made the stay great. We particularly adored our cooking class with Andrea and he sat with us to write town recommendations for Sardinia as he was from there. Truly a special stay.

We loved our stay in Podere La Rocca! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, we’ve stayed in a few places in Tuscany before and this was definitely the most beautiful one. The rooms were even better than in photos and everything was really clean. We we’re travelling with our 2-year-old and this was a great place to stay with a child. The playground and the shallow end in the pool were a huge bonus! The service was lovely, thank you especially for Giovanni and Antonio! We hope to come back some day.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub.

The property was a dream! We had the best room in hotel with the best view! It was better that i thought. The garden and the pool were amazing. The staff were so nice and so friendly, we were very pleased with them. The property was also really close to places that we really like to see. The food- I mean, I have no words. Amazing!

The room was a really great size, clean and modern and the surrounding location was stunning. We met Alessandro on our first night who could not do enough for us, he gave us recommendations on where to go and contacted various restaurants to make reservations for us. In the morning we met Martina who laid on an amazing breakfast for us and told us about the surrounding area, tips on where to visit and really handy info on Tuscan food. Both were really kind, incredibly friendly and welcoming paying great attention to detail. The room was really spacious, the WiFi was good and air con worked perfectly. The surrounding olive grove was beautiful and it was easy to get to Castiglione del lago (18mins) to watch the sunset and have a drink and 23 mins to Montepulciano. The room was exactly as advertised, the water pressure was good for a hot shower, fridge and plenty of storage. Martina and Alessandro’s warmth and attentiveness created a comfortable and homely atmosphere that we will never forget. Plus we cannot forget Bruno who was absolutely adorable. We would highly recommend

I've stayed one week at Daniela's house, living with her and her family. Each morning, I was excited to come down and have an amazing breakfast (I especially loooved the toasts!). And every evening, I was happy to go back home and have a chat 😌 I've started to learn Italian recently, and Daniela and her family were very patient with me 😇 I think I made more progress in a week than in the previous month! The room is huge, has plenty of privacy and is extremely comfortable. I was able to work from there as the WiFi is quite fast and I had a small table :) I explored the area by bike, there are many cyclable paths along along fields or in forests, with a view over valleys or leading to charming villages. It's beautiful!!
