The owners of Guri are a very friendly architect and chef couple who decided to leave the big city to lead a more satisfying life with their young family in this charming boathouse village. We felt very much at home, downstairs is a small cozy cafe and upstairs just one room. A lot of attention to details shows deep commitment to hospitality. The breakfast not only looked very healthy, it was tasty and generous, topped by homemade blue berry and strawberry jam!

A gorgeous place to stay. Everything was clean & tidy. The host was wonderful with showing us around & gave us a great dinner recommendation. We enjoyed the sauna & bath. It was easy to find & easy access to explore Ine & surrounding areas.

The whole house is beautifully appointed, the bathroom was fantastic, and the bath size is very generous. We loved the massage chair and the relaxed feel of sitting around the kitchen island. You can stroll along the ocean nearby and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

The place is cozy and quiet, with beautifully designed interiors. The staff were very helpful and did their best to assist with any requests. We had a truly pleasant night here—just wish we had more time to stay. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to come back again!

Staff friendliness. I was a Marriott staff, woking as a concierge at Marriott BKK. I was trained how to treat a guests and this time I got treated. I feel like this is my home. The hotel atmosphere is super cozy. There is a supermarket opposite to the hotel.

It is a small cosy hotel - really special and quiet after busy days spent in Kyoto. Our room was simply perfect - 2nd floor corner room with a huge balcony and windows overlooking the bridge and bay. Our children were next door in a smaller but equally lovely space. The staff were completely sweet and helpful. I wish we could have spent another night! 🙏🏼
