Our stay at La Vista FujiKawaguchiko was truly unforgettable. The hotel is situated in an exceptionally peaceful and picturesque location, offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji right from the room. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed — the check-in process was very fast, and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff kindly arranged a shuttle bus reservation for us. The shuttle operates several times a day between Kawaguchiko Station and the hotel, making access very convenient. This small but thoughtful gesture immediately set the tone for a highly attentive and hospitable service throughout our stay. The hotel lobby features a charming little shop, a 24-hour coffee machine, and during specific times, complimentary desserts and wine are served — a delightful touch that made us feel pampered. Our room was exceptional: traditional yet luxurious, with an electric fireplace adding a cozy atmosphere. The private open-air bath on the balcony, overlooking Mount Fuji, was an extraordinary experience. The hotel thoughtfully provides comfortable pajamas, which guests are encouraged to wear not only in their rooms but also while visiting the restaurant and spa areas — a unique and relaxing custom that adds to the homely and welcoming ambiance of the hotel. La Vista FujiKawaguchiko exceeded all our expectations. Every detail, from the stunning decor to the attentive service, was perfectly designed to create an atmosphere of pure relaxation and enjoyment. Oh, my word!! This place was nothing short of magical. We felt like royalty or rock stars! Our individual apartment comprised of two levels - a toilet on both levels and the most luxurious and high-tech bathroom on the main floor. The roof-top terrace was also gorgeous, and really well thought out and set up. We definitely needed and appreciated the umbrella so we could enjoy the gorgeous view of Mount Fuji as it greeted us each morning. The staff were outstanding from the initial meeting, and couldn't do enough for us. We loved the wine and goodies we were greeted with, and the bottles of cold water too. Do make use of the breakfasts - they are absolutely delicious - and get delivered to your door! Our only regret is that there was so much, we couldn't eat it all. Thanks for a fabulous stay - our next trip will consist of a week's stay rather than just two nights.

The house was modern, spacious and well equipped with a convenient and peaceful location. We could easily walk to the supermarket, the lake and the station. We loved the underfloor heating and the drying room upstairs. The 4 bedrooms were all a good size with lots of closet space and some nice views of Lake Kawaguchiko. The kitchen and bathroom were both clean and modern. The owner also responded quickly to us when we contacted him. There were 8 of us in our group and we all loved Kawaguchiko and our home away from home. Hope to be back in another season!

The staff are all nice, helpful, and cheerful. Facilities are all amazing and thoughtful. The entire villa/camping unit is spacious. We especially like their bed and pillows, not soft, making us sleep like a baby. We stayed for two nights. They also changed dinner menu, which was very thoughtful and very appreciated too!

Perfect view of Mt Fuji from the balcony! Supermarket is only a few mins drive away, or walkable. House is very clean and comfortable to stay in. Vibes are super cosy!

We had an amazing experience. The family managing the Ryokan is very welcome and they all speak good English. The room was very big, with great views and comfortable. TheY have complimentary hot spring for guest use. We would definitely recommend to book the stay with the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, all the dishes were delicious.
