A Hidden Paradise with Wonderful People and Friendly Pets The people at SunBoo were incredibly friendly—Niana, Connie, Paul, and Nina. I had great conversations with them and we even enjoyed a movie night together! The food here is definitely worth mentioning; it was delicious. And of course, the sunset and the beach are absolutely top-notch. During my stay on Saracen Island, I had the chance to go snorkeling and ride an ATV, both of which were amazing experiences. If you’re looking to escape the crowds and find a secluded beach paradise, SunBoo is the perfect choice. One note: if you want to go diving, be sure to book a day in advance. To reach Sunset Beach, you’ll need to hike over a small hill, but trust me—it’s completely worth it. And don’t forget to say hello to the six cats and two dogs here—they’re all very friendly and make your stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful stay and see you again, SunBoo!

We love the place! friendly staff, BBQ, and good cocktails, we stayed at a different resort and came here for diner and just fell in love with the place so we had to book it its a shame we did not book it earlier, check in was fast and easy thanks to the western staff (can not remember his name) he also upgraded our room for free and made up our room for my other halves birthday that was a nice touch. I recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice relaxing stay with good food and drinks.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They provided me with all sort of information I needed. The facilities were very cleaned, even though they are just on the beach, so you could think they would be a bit dirty because of the sand everywhere. But not. The room had a lot of space, very quiet. Besides the other bungalows around there is a temple nearby but it only adds calm and relax atmosphere when they are praying. You can be picked-up from the other peer in case you arrive there and not at the one just by the hotel. You can get paddle surf boards for free, just be aware of getting sunscreen as you don't realise of how strong is the sun, even when it is cloudy :) The hotel is in the best location to have near walkways up to the lighthouse, or going to the Sunset beach (very nice, don't miss it!), carving stones, and some bars 20 minutes walking (close enough to go for a drink at night, far enough to not hear a thing :D ) I stayed 3 nights but would have been more if i had had more time in Camboya!

This location is hands down the most calm and peaceful beach on the island. Also It really is quite central to Koh Rong Sanloeum's other charms, like hiking, paddling, and snorkeling! The establishment is owned by a genuinely friendly Khmer family, but managed day to day by what seem to be a dedicated local and international staff who all have experience in the hospitality sector. What this equates to is excellent, attentive, caring, precise service. They are absolutely wonderful with children as well.
