I had a very pleasant time at this property in Tongyeong and its islands, especially due to the host, Jeroen. When I arrived, Jeroen invited me to join his Korean BBQ with a fellow traveler who was staying at his house. I also received great information about all the islands I could travel to by ferry. After two days, I noticed that my next booking was canceled, so I needed to extend my stay. Jeroen was very accommodating and made it easy for me to stay longer. The next day, we went out for lunch at his neighbor's, which was also really nice. The entire house is very clean and cozy, perfect for relaxing for a moment. The most pleasant thing for me about this property was that Jeroen has a strong Dutch background, which made me feel at home, since I am Dutch. If you are traveling to Korea, you should visit Tongyeong and definitely stay at Jeroen's house. You'll have the best experience :)

The staff were so friendly and helpful, truly amazing. Location is right next to the ferry terminal so perfect for day trips to the islands and walking distance to the main harbour. The room was very comfortable and modern. Breakfast was basic but appreciated and laundry was included. Loved it!

I usually don’t leave long reviews but I had to this time. TRUST ME- book this guesthouse. Aside from it being stunning, the owners are the most genuine, caring, kind elderly couple I’ve ever met. I wanted to go to a specific island for a hike and asked for advice from Mr. Kim. He suggested to travel with him on the very next day to another island which was incredible! When I had a wound on my feet they treated me like I’m their child. I felt so cared for and safe. I won’t ever shut up about this amazing experience and I want to come back for sure. Please treat them with the utmost respect if you choose to stay at their home! There’s a 5gcs store nearby, ferry terminal and bus station.

A wonderful guesthouse! Actually my favourite place I stayed out of several on my trip. Very welcoming host who was super helpful. Peaceful location, with beautiful garden. Very easy to get to on public transport or a 30 minute walk to harbour area using under sea tunnel. Right by cable car for Mireuksan.

The view was amazing!! We really enjoyed the location because it was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend hiring a car. There’s a really cute cafe near by if you want to get good coffee but the pension also provides coffee and you have private kitchen facilities. We cooked one night and looked over the beautiful ocean. The owner is really helpful and gives you tips for local places to eat.

Didimol is a nice House with 6 units and a beautifully tended garden and a nice view of the surroundings. Yet the owners are the gem of this property. They are very communicative and helpful; breaking the language barrier with apps, hands and feets and a lot of smiles. They can recommend and show you the best places and will now and then provide you with snacks or breakfast.

The hosts were welcoming, good communication, felt like home already, the view is amazing with the sunrise at 5h is something magical, a peaceful stay surrounded by nature , the little garden is so charming , i completely recommand , very clean with everything needed !
