This accommodation is perfect. The family was lovely. From the minute we entered this home, we felt right at home. We were greeted with fresh homemade juice, which was beautiful. The host chatted to us about what to do during our stay and gave really good advice on our future travel around Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend having dinner while staying here. All the food we had while staying at this home stay was so tasty and plentiful. The dinner was actually our favourite meal we had since arriving in sri lanka. The breakfast was also very nice and very big. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a mosquito net and a fan in the room. The home stay is a bit outside of the town but the host offers to drop and collect you from the bus station. It is very close to the temple. This was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka.

My partner and I received exceptional personal service from Sanjay and his wife Madhu who own Simoya, with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast on the balcony that overlooks the jungle with its monkeys, squirrels and other wildlife was a fantastic experience, with the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts that the couple served us each morning absolutely delicious. Sanjay even made some phone calls to find out where I could get a spare part for my rental car. It was a great relaxing and refreshing stay!

This place is absolutely amazing! The host Nuwan and his family are so nice and friendly, they make you feel at home from the first moment. Nuwan not only helped us organize our activities in the area by sharing with us the most beautiful places to see around, taking in to consideration what we were also interested in, but also drove us around to amazing local places in his tuk tuk. He took us to the village temple which has spectacular views of the area and a secret spot to view the birds just after sunset and they are both really recommended! His wife and 2 kids are also very polite and cute and always ready to help have the best experience. Thanks for offering this great experience and we hope to see you again some day!

So beatiful and calmly place. Lake area is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Staff is helpful and friendly in every way. We booked at first only one night, but the we extended for 3 more days. Rooms were quiet big and comfortable. Clean and the food was ok, but not that special like we got in the rest of the country.

Very beautiful apartment, nice ambience and very quiet. Kumar, the host is very polite and respectful. The breakfast is full with different choices. They also cooked for us a delicious homemade dinner. The driver they recommended us was also very polite and went out of his way to show us nice spots around the area. The best value for money hotel I have ever stayed at.

    Perfekt place for children the wood cabin is wonderful . Ten minutes walk to the caves. The owner arrenge all the trips around ,to sigiria and the jeep to the n.p. the food was great. The saty was very pleasant the family was wonderful

    What an enormous bed!!! Bloody awesome. You could sleep in there with a whole family. Staff amazing, a really nice family hotel. Everything is new and tge breakfast is AMAZING. you will not have lunch that day. Estuti thank you for everything

    Our host and his family are a bunch of amazing people! The food at the homestay was super ! We met couple of travelers and had a fun night in the common dining area. The property was beautiful and very close to The Cave temple.
