Wonderful experience! A beautiful family-run hotel overlooking the valley and hills, with the sound of a river nearby. The hosts are marvelous, exceptionally kind and welcoming, and were helpful throughout my stay, especially with helping me plan my time in town, and bus schedules for my onwards travel. They were even kind enough to drop me off at the bus station on my way out. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The view from the window and terrace is beautiful. And the town center is a convenient 5-7 minute walk away. The breakfasts were wonderful as well, with variety each day! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Amazing view with comfortable stay.The host Shalika n her family are very familiar n friendly n helpful too. She made our stay very comfortable n home feeling.The view from property is mesmerising. Rooms is very big with all amenities. Very tasty food. Great place to spend time with family n friend. Even our sweet host she arranged vehicle for site seeing n for Mirrisa too.Thanks a lot Shalika for each n every thing to make our stay comfortable.

We had an amazing experience at this lovely hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the greenery surrounding the property, felt like stepping into a peaceful paradise. It even rained heavily on our first day, which added to the charm and made the scenery even more magical the next morning. The bungalow was spacious of 2 stories, comfortable, and beautifully designed. There are only four bungalows on the property, which makes the atmosphere very private and serene. What really stood out was the team running the place. Though small and long working hours, they were super friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything from check-in to meals was handled with such care. Speaking of meals, the food was delicious! Every dish we had was fresh and full of flavor. they do breakfast on tray basis and not buffet since the number of guest are limited. They call you the night before to ask on the type each person would like to order.

The people at The Cubes are fantastic! We arrived late in the evening and it rained hence the road was wet. The slope up to the accomodation was a little steep and our car had some problem going up. 4 guys came very quickly to check and helped pushed the car up! So very grateful. We were greeted with great smiles and welcome drinks...felt like friends instantly. Breakfast was great too looking out to the hills and had a good chat with the accomodation manager. On the whole, the staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. Thank you The Cubes!

I stayed for 2 nights, but I wanted to stay longer! It was such a beautiful experience. The rooms face the beautiful mountains, the environment is serene, you see lots of animals, you hear the birds. There is a special place to share food with the birds. The monks are very very kind and attentive. There is also an opportunity to learn more about meditation and join their practice, if you are interested. This was very inspiring for my own practice. The rooms were very clean and well amended. Each room has a terrace, where you can enjoy absolutely delicious breakfast. So grateful for this 🙏🏻

This was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The owner was very kind. We rented a tuktuk going to Ella. He drove our tuktuk going to his place, bought us dinner from the city, and cooked us a very sumptuous breakfast. The place was amazing. Although it had no a/c, we were still able to sleep well at night. Apparently, there were not much bugs during our stay there. The place is just beside the famous Asanka Cafe.

    The location was good because it was close to town but away from the noise and the bed was so cosy, I don't know how to describe it, I slept like a baby every night and then woke up for this nice breakfast in the al fresco area, and is also surrounded by restaurants, there is a cafe bistro just next door with really nice food (burger and the panini recommended) in case you don't want to go to town . The Ravana Club is just within walking distance, in general I think it is really convenient to explore the area

    Executive suite was a lovely room for our family of 4. Stylish design. Lovely little infinity pool although the sun didn't hit it so it was cold ! Fun though! Food was good and it was close enough to town in a very cheap tuk tuk.

    Senavi and his family are committed to the satisfaction of their guests. The room was above my expectations. Clean, spacious and we had no mosquitos problems thanks to the nets installed above each bed. The views are as described and the 9 arch bridge can be easily reached on foot, even with a child. Senavi offered a tuk tuk service to Ella and back which was nice. The home made breakfast was also good 👍
