Wonderful experience here. The host was very supportive and kind. He helped me locate a bicycle and personally drove me to the bus station in the early morning. The place is near a great cafe/restaurant and a luxury hotel is close by with a pool you can use. Top spot!

Karpha Sands is a beautiful, well-designed hotel. The Rooms are tent like bungalows with an astonishing view to the beach. As a family with two pre-school children we felt extreme welcome by the friendly, warm-hearted staff. The food was very delicious, offering a well balanced mixture between local and international cuisine. We had a wonderful time and would definitetely come again when we visit Sri Lanka again...

This was the best homestay we had during our trip to Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, including breakfast, lunch, and supper. An exceptional accommodation, Nava our host was very attentive and nothing was a hassle. He's maintaining a high standard and does it easily.,which for the guest helps you relax straight away.Close to all things you need and 5 minutes from bus or railway station. Great couple of food hotels on the main trinco Rd.Very cheap and great sri lankan food. We would have liked another night or two. Thankyou Nava . Ps had english sri lankan paper as well.
