Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Organised our safari for us, made special meals for my fussy eater kids and were just awesome in every way. Do yourselves a favour and stay and this beautiful hotel. They will do everything to make sure you enjoy your stay. From making sure you are conformable in your room to giving you advice on where to enjoy a meal (or preparing one for you at the hotel)

The best place in thissamharama is A very quiet environment and an neat and clean garden .. Good hospitality.. Staff was very friendly. The provided everything we needed... It's very close to thissamharama town. We are going to sithulpauwa and katharagama. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. They have a massive restaurant. The food was delicious and refreshing. I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

We have been three couples of friends and we have enjoyed an experience that we will never forget. Its location is perfect to enjoy nature, the environment, and its proximity to the entrance of the Yala National Park. The rooms are magnificent, everything is well taken care of, the food is excellent and all the staff are dedicated to making the stay very pleasant. The BBQ party was awesome. Thanks to Jayakodiy and all his team for this wonderful stay.

Our stay with Randy and his delightful family was absolutely fabulous. The room was very large, spacious and comfortable, and beautifully clean. The food Randy's wife made for us was really delicious, and healthy too. We enjoyed lots of exotic fruits we had not tried before, most of which came from their garden. Randy went above and beyond any expectations we could possibly have. He took us on a tour of the lake and village, and pointed out lots of amazing wildlife, including toucans, turtles, and monitor lizards. The whole family were lovely, including Randy's wife and little girl. Elegant Lake House is a perfect place to stay. There is nothing else to say. Thank you very much, Randy and family.

We really enjoyed our stay at Double Lake View due to the so kind and helpfull staff, they make you feel so welcomed. The room was perfect for a shorter stay and the food they made were delicious.

Loved our short stay at Doubletree. The rooms are spacious and the property as a whole was very clean and well maintained. Meals were good but the restaurant staff deserve a special mention - especially Harsha - as he went above and beyond to take care of our family. The pool is a highlight - absolutely huge with an excellent shallow area on one side and swim up pool on the other. Pool staff were very attentive and friendly. Slightly further from the Yala Block 1 and Block 5 entrances but not a dealbreaker. Property as a whole is very luxurious and upscale. Would stay again!
