Great cultural/historical experience. If you a bawa fan this stay is essential. So well preserved, and the staff make the experience authentic. While the stay felt like a preserved time capsule it also offered a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Tharak and Anthony were great hosts. Helpful and friendly.

We had a great time in Aathma Colombo House. We were lucky enough to be the first guest after the hotel was renovated and the staff made it possible for us to have an unforgettable stay. From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive and interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible, especially I think as we were in our 70's, nothing was too much trouble, very professional. Breakfast was excellent. The Manager went out of his way to show us to a nearby very good restaurant, The Embassy. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a Colombo hotel which provided facecloths, along with a bath tub, it was a real treat! The pool was extremely clean. The neighbourhood very quiet making it a peaceful two night holiday. We will be back next time we have to go to Colombo for sure.
