Everything was just perfect! The villa was wel equipped and very clean. Father and sun were so nice and arranged everything we wanted (lagoon kanon trip, tuk tuk, breakfast, …). I truly recommend!! Thanks again for the nice stay!

Manu and Shashi are very friendly and nice. We had really good time there, we also hanged out together during the day. Breakfast is delicious, we also ate fish dinner there that you really shouldn’t skip! We felt like a part of the family and we really recommend this place.

We stayed for 4 nights and would certainly return! Overall a fantastic hotel. Hotel setting is idyllic with amazing pool to lounge around and only 10 metres from the beach - but privacy maintained by palm trees which also provide some much needed shade! Free bodyboards to borrow should you fancy some water-sports which we used everyday :) Only 10 rooms, so very personal (and fantastic) service and small hotel feel which was fab. Felt very secure. Hotel bar located upstairs above the main restaurant is a nice spot for pre dinner cocktails - which were great. Downstairs, right next to the pool is the restaurant which serves fantastic food - the menu is rotated every day for lunch and dinner, so plenty of variety if staying for a few days. Breakfast also very good, and the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka! Everything is cooked fresh to order, but this does mean some meals took a while to arrive particularly at breakfast (our only recommended area of improvement for the hotel)! We intended to do a few day trips, but the hotel was so good we ended up only venturing out for one evening. We hope to return!

The privacy of having the entire 3rd floor for ourselves with kitchen, living room and balcony. Was such a great experience! Location was good for us! It is a 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach and a few minutes away from other beaches and attractions by scooter or tuk tuk. On top of it, the owner and his family are beautiful people. We loved it.

A very well-kept facility, located in a quiet location, with access to the lagoon. We swam in a kayak belonging to the facility and had the opportunity to observe many species of birds, including eagles. Moreover, while sitting for breakfast, you can admire several species of colorful birds flying between the trees. Fantastic! Extremely spacious and clean room. Food also very good. Extremely nice and helpful gentleman. He arranged for us to pick up a tuk tuk at the hotel. We recommend this place!

I recently stayed at Igabara Hobbit House Rakawa, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Hidden Garden is an oasis of calm. We were told it was a few minutes from the beach by going down a garden path and it really is. In the extensive hotel grounds you could not hear any noise from the beach bars and restaurants that dot the coast. The rooms were spotlessly clean and depending on the room you booked, had all amenities. The view from our veranda was really beautiful. The pool is fab. The staff were really friendly. They also do laundry and you can borrow a kayak to go around the lagoon that backs onto the Hotel. We saw a massive monitor lizard which was exciting! Tip-the address on booking .com is accurate for car travel. The address on Google only for on foot. I suggest you ring the Hotel to co-ordinate with your driver if you are coming by car. It is one of those places that is easy once you know!

Best hotel / resort we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were exceptional, and both the resort and the room were more then exceptional. Crazy ocean view from room 4. Amazing deserted beach literally right outside the hotel plus a really good pool. Food was great and stuff looked after us well. Didn’t want to leave!! Felt it was good value too for what we got.
