This property had a beautiful view from a big balcony. It was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean with a fan, beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful & friendly. It was a convenient place to stay while walking the Pekoe Trail. We walked to town for food but it is possible to arrange to there!

The best thing about this homestay is their friendly service, the family members who are running the place, are very cordial, they treat locals same as to the foreigners ❤️. Room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable, worth the price 👍. The breakfast was so tasty and refreshing, very good start for the day. This hotel is amazing. The rooms are clean, big, with lovely comfy beds, both our rooms had big tvs in, kettle, lovely bathroom with hot water and amazing water pressure. There were 2 commun areas with tables and sofas which were lovely too. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the owners and workers couldnt have been more helpful when we asked them a million and 1 things. Laundry service was cheap, quick and clothes came back smelling lovely.

We loved everything about this place. The view is unreal and Vihanga is the perfect host - we cannot rate it highly enough. Vihanga was super attentive throughout our stay, he be helped to organise tuk tuks into town, provided a laundry service and gave directions for our treks.

Best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Sanjaya and his family are so friendly and service minded. He picked us up at the train station and spent the day showing us some great places, including a tea factory. They also offered us dinner, which was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place, it’s really a cozy heaven. Thank you for having us!

A beautiful place just minutes from central Ella with stunning views and all the facilities our family needed. Shalika and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful, they went above and beyond. Breakfast was generous with a selection of Sri Lankan specialities, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, and the home-cooked traditional dinner with vegetables from her garden was one of the best we had on our whole trip. They also arranged all our transport for our stay and even gave us a free ride to the train station. Can’t wait to come back!

If you’re coming to Nuwara Eliya with visions of old world charm this is the place for you. We loved our huge bedroom, it was perfect for a family of four. The decor and building design are gorgeous. The home is spotlessly clean. The hosts were very kind. The food delicious and fresh, the free breakfast was outstanding. It is a bit out of the town centre but this was a positive in our eyes. Easy walk into town or tuk tuk is cheap. Really recommend this place.
