Wonderful real desert experience!!! You can get there by normal car (no 4x4 needed) though you have to drive carefully as the last part of the way is a gravel road. Larbi is a great host who will tell you about the real nomad life. The conditions are basic but it is close to real nomad life not in a style of a luxury tent. Bright stars at night, quietness and a very nice and honest host. I am sure one day we will be back to go with him to Erg Chegaga. Thank you Larbi for your kindness and stories you shared with us.

The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

I had the most wonderful experience at the camp - as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly well cared for, and I would like to recommend this experience to all other travelers. Tents are standing in quite a distance from each other, which allows for privacy. Bathrooms are super clean, showers have warm water. Food is amazing! Seriously - made with love and care from fresh ingredients. I had a day trip to see the high dunes, which was the highlight of my stay in Morocco. Memories from it will stay with me forever. At night, you can see Milky Way. This is a true desert experience & I would love to recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and authentic.

If it were possible to give more than a 10 out of 10, we absolutely would! Hassan and Ikhlef were simply phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, they took fantastic care of us—and trust me, that’s really saying something since we visited the desert in July when it’s extremely hot. The food was top-notch, all thanks to Hassan’s excellent cooking skills. They kept the bedding immaculate and even set up an outdoor bed for us every evening. Sleeping under the stars was a magical experience I'll always remember. The sand dunes are 20 meters from the camp, ideal for a morning walk, some meditation, yoga, or just to sit back and watch camels slowly passing by on the horizon. Access to the camp was straightforward, even in a Kia Picanto. The toilet facilities were spotless, and they were always ready to help with anything we needed.

I recommend using Sahara holidays camp .for a trek in the desert. Most of the staff speak englich and other stuff . The cook is a local who knows very well the desert and can be an amazing tour guide, camel man, everything. The staff members are all very friendly and teach you many things such as the way nomads live in the desert. And to some extent through this trip, you will be able to experience that yourself. Sahara holidays also helps you a lot plan the entire trip in Morocco, and to schedule how to get to (If you are landing in Mhamid for example). The food is also very friendly for vegetarian people as it is often served with lots of vegetable. For anyone who is looking for a personal trip to relax, or a family trip, friends... I recommend going to Mhamid and experience the desert trek! Make sure to look all the options on their website .

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place, that's the one. Nice atmosphere, very helpful owner. If you want a desert tour just ask as it can be arranged according to your needs. The actual place is about 4 min drive from Mhamid so if you don't want to drive just for a dinner ask the owner as he can prepare that for you.
