I was looking for some “me time”, not a surfer, just wanted a laid back peaceful place to relax in and walk along the beach. La Maison des Vagues is SO perfect for this. Comfortable, cozy, lots of different spaces, great food, fab staff, a pool and they can organize all the activities like surfing/horse/dromedary rides, quads, visits to Essaouira (recommend), yoga and massages. Really mixed crowd from families with young kids to groups of same sex friends, older couples and a few Moroccan families too - such a nice atmosphere, gracefully curated by Christèle and Christophe, with their right hand woman Soukaina who is ACE! Thank you to all the team for delivering exactly what I was looking for.

Villa Maya is situated in a quite area at 30 min from Essaouira by car. The house has really relaxed atmosphere and the staff was so kind and did everything to make it comfortable for us. We could swim, play jeu de boules, dart.. Could really recommend Villa Maya.

The best thing about the Villa are the hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location is very quiet and relaxing but it’s easy to get to busier areas for dinner etc

Sun and Sea Lodge is more than just a hostel, it's home. Just one week old, so it's all new and cosy, providing the perfect environment to relax, yet the perfect energy to do yoga, and meditate. It's far enough from the touristy villages but still close to everything you need. If you need some peace, this is where you need to be. The lodge is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained—perfect for a relaxing holiday. Frank and his team are exceptional hosts who truly make you feel welcome. The pool was fantastic, and my child had a great time playing with Frank’s adorable dogs. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to spend quality time with their family. The entire space is spacious, well-kept, and thoughtfully managed by Frank. Highly recommended.
